My Story
Lara’s journey into construction began in her youth, when she helped her parents build their family home, gaining an early appreciation for the satisfaction of creating something with her own hands. Without formal training, she learned through experience, observing every detail and taking on tasks herself.
Her dedication grew as she spent almost 30 years working in a family-owned construction business, where she immersed herself in every aspect of the trade, from managing teams and timelines to troubleshooting complex builds. Through these hands-on experiences, Lara’s love for construction solidified; it became more than a profession—it became her passion, a way of life, and a craft she was driven to master.

When Lara set out to launch Raptor Design and Build in 2021, she brought with her an exceptional mix of grit, expertise, and a client-centered vision. As a woman-owned business in an industry often dominated by men, Lara understands the importance of clarity, empathy, and reliability.
